    Hello,

Our son has recently developed a condition called Scheurmann’s disease which apparently is similar to scoliosis in that there is a degenerative component to the disease and a resulting curvature of the spine. However unlike scoliosis the curvature is anteriorly rather than laterally. I am looking into the Schroth excercises for scoliosis and wonder if you might have any experience in adapting these exercises for Scheurmann’s disease?

We do not live in the Toronto area so are not looking for an appointment, just some advice or direction on where to turn for some pain relief modalities that will work. So far, physio, acupuncture, chiropractric and meds have not done much.

Thanks so much for your anticipated assistance,

    Maria Guinness
